Imagine yourself patrolling the streets of Denver or protecting life and property by providing emergency fire services. The time to act is now. The City and County of Denver will be hiring over 200 public safety personnel for 2006.

The starting salary for a Denver Police Officer is $39,924 for 2006. That same officer will make over $61,000 a year by his or her fourth year on the job.

Explore these opportunities at the 4th Annual Denver Rocky Mountain Public Safety Diversity Career Day on Tuesday Dec. 6. The career day will take place at the Wellington E. Webb Office Building atrium area between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
